#ICantKeepQuiet Day

#ICANTKEEPQUIET DAY IS SATURDAY, APRIL 8TH. AT 1PM IN YOUR TIME ZONE, JOIN US IN SONIC PRAYER.

HERE'S HOW:

  1. From anywhere in the world, (try to) face the John Lennon Peace Sign at Strawberry Fields in New York City's Central Park (40.7757 N, 73.9747 W).

  2. Sing "Quiet", or express yourself however you'd like (telling your story, dancing, painting, calling your long lost friend). *Extra credit if you Facebook live so MICLK can see it too!

  3. Post your experience with hashtag #ICANTKEEPQUIET, so the world can join in on the healing!

SING WITH MILCK IN PERSON:

MILCK will be at The Fountain in Washington Square Park in New York City. Meet her there at 1pm, and she'll be singing a new 2 part harmony. She'll go over the song a bit when we meet up, but try to learn it before you get there if possible! Grab the 2 part harmony here: https://www.icantkeepquiet.org/getinvolved/

Women In The World Summit

  • David H. Koch Theatre at Lincoln Center

MILCK will perform at the 8th annual Women In The World Summit, presented by Tina Brown Live Media in association with The New York Times.

Women who are on the front lines in over 20 countries come to tell their stories in this compelling three-day event. They are activists, CEOs, peacemakers, entrepreneurs, and firebrand dissidents. They've saved and enriched lives and shattered glass ceilings in every sector. Presenting vivid journalistic narratives, stirring videos, and provocative discussions, the Women in the World Summit is the premier showcase for women of impact and for the men who champion them.

#MeWeCSW: 61st Commission of the Status of Women at the United Nations

  • United Nations Church Center

Join us for this Parallel Event & Feminist Action happening at the 61st Commission of the Status of Women! Given the regressive geo-political developments that are currently underway, now, perhaps more than ever in recent history, our ability to mobilize and build communities online and offline is of vital importance. In this event, the Women’s Global Network for Reproductive Rights (WGNRR) and Love Matters, will share their recent experiences in collaborating and using online and offline campaigning to connect information seekers with advocates, and increase broad mobilization and support for SRHR. Participants will gain knowledge on creative means of advocacy, the value of intersecting forms of campaigning, and harmonizing online & offline strategies to advance even the most challenging aspects of SRHR advocacy.

SPACE IS LIMITED! TO RSVP, please fill out this form: https://goo.gl/forms/FtH8f2uf1BgYJSKl2
